According to this Wikipedia article, the world’s top three “religious populations” are Christianity, Islam, and Irreligious / atheist. Here’s how the top three are distributed across our example states of New South Wales / Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania.

Similar pattern as in the UK and much of Western Europe during the 1960’s and 70’s. Some of these postcodes may become culturally Islamic “islands” – unwelcoming of others. A departure from the wave of none-Anglo migration following World War 2, which saw many different language and cultural groups effectively integrate and enrich established society.
